Plot Errors

I just recently got the Bardock Special in English and whilst I was watching it I was suprised to see at the end when Bardock dies. Well you know during the series when they show Bardock saying my son lives on. Well when this occurs he doesn't instead he goes on about how he realized that his son is going to be the one to defeat Frieza.

Another error in the special or the series. During the fight against Frieza, on the show he says something around the lines of come on men help me defeat Frieza. Well for a start the men are Frieza's hench men and he says something completely different he says we quit Frieza were sick of doing your dirty work.

During the Cell Saga on the episode "Gohan's Desperate Plea", Gohan is telling Cell about his hidden power and during that he starts off his speech with the Radditz Saga bit where Goku is hurt and Gohan comes flying out. Well Radditz scans Gohan with the scouter and says his power level is something like 1370 but in the Radditz Saga we see it says its 750. So I think this is a plot error and a half. [That or they forgot the 1 (Majin Genki)]

I dunno whether or not you could call this a plot error but I have noticed in the Japanese Bardock Special, they state that Bardock's powerlevel is reaching 10000, and at the start of DBZ, Vegeta tells Goku that his father was just an average class fighter. What I don't understand is for him to be average, why is Nappa and Vegeta Super Elite class especially when Vegeta's powerlevel at that time were only just bigger and Nappa's way smaller. Go figure?

I figured out that if a Namekian year is 130 days. Then that would mean that Piccolo would be around nearly 80 years old because it's about 2 and a half Namekian years to 1 Earth year.

Well you all know the story how Goku escaped Namek right? Well did any one even bother to look at the Frieza Saga when Namek was blowing up? Goku told everyone how he saw the Saiyan space pod fall when he was inside Frieza's pace ship. Well if you were watching carefully this didn't happen. Goku is in Frieza's ship and he flew out and says "Darn that was my only ticket out of here", and then the lava cruises up from where Frieza's space ship was. So exactly how did the Saiyan pod survive? How can Goku be outside the crater without a ship complaining and inside Frieza's ship seeing the other space capsule, very wierd!!



Majin Bardock

When Goku was training with King Kai for the Vegeta/Nappa battle, King Kai said that Goku would need to become stronger then himself in order to defeat them. Goku had a power level of 5000 which was apparently stronger than King Kai. But when the Ginyu Force was on his planet he threatened Recoome and said that he would basically give him a whoopin, which couldn't be possible. [Or he was bluffing to keep the Ginyu Force in line... or he even trained some more and is stronger then. (Majin Genki)]

I dunno whether you could call this a plot error but I find this gay and wierd. Well Raditz at the start of Dragonball Z lifts up a friggin car and Gohan says my daddy can do that and Raditz has a really low power level. But in the middle of DBZ just before the Androids on the episode "Goku's Ordeal", Goku can hardly lift a bus full of people. But to my understanding a person becomes stronger when their powerlevels increase and at this time Goku's power level is literally 20 million times more than Raditz and the useless hero couldnt lift a bus. [Of course he's useless... and so stupid *snickers* (Majin Genki)]



Majin Tien/Bardock

Well right at the end of the episode "Ginyu Assult", Vegeta leaves and says "so long Kakarott ha ha ha". Goku replies "you dirty dog". Then right at the start of the next episode Vegeta has not left, instead he leaves and Goku yells "Oh no" and Captain Ginyu attacks straight away.
