Censor Editing




Well, I just thought I should put up this section on editing in the show for all you fans that wonder what happens in the original versions. I also stuck in some mistakes that I noticed.





Well one of the first censoring bits that hit me was when Krillin took on Frieza stage 2. Frieza skewed Krillin with his horn and had minor bleeding, but on some TV channels this was cut out.

Another censor that I noticed is in the Garlic Jr movie Gohan chucks a leak on Krillin's head, it's really funny.

Another bit that I have noticed censored was when Frieza was fighting Vegeta, you know the bit where he had his tail round Vegeta's neck and was punching the crap out of him. Well what happens is that Vegeta chokes up blood all over Frieza's face and Frieza licks it up.

Durnig the Android series when Dr Gero first encounters Yamucha, it looks like he just drains Yamucha's energy and was stopping his breathing, but what really happened was Dr. Gero stuck his hand right through Yamucha, you would have picked this up on the censored versions as well as when they were all at Bulma's house I believe it was Oolong whom said Hey Yamucha you don't want to end up with another hand through your stomache again.

During the Garlic Junior episode, I think suicidal course or the one before, Gohan gets up and punches Vinegar or whatever his name was at the wall. There is a tiny cut in there which I reccon they redid, as Vinegar was punched straight into a round sharp ledge skewering him. What the editing company failed to do though was at the end when they showed what was gonna happen next they showed all the blood running down his chest. But straight after he gets off the ledge and there is a hole in his costume but not a scratch.

A heres a biggy and if you saw how cool it looks. When the Cell Jr's fight Gohan it appears that they just explode as he hits them but if you watch carefully they actually show the same bit twice and it jumps this is because he actually hits them in half then they explode.

I dunno about some other channels but I have the videos of the Cell Tournament, when I watched the episode where Trunks returned to the future, the TV channel left out the bit with the old man pointing a gun at Android 17, I just found this wierd as they didn't edit the bit with Raditz and the farmer with a shotgun. Although DBZ ending up changing editors after the Frieza saga. You can tell because the voices are different.
